The January Pack meeting is time for the annual Pack 104 Cake Bake CONTEST with Prizes !!

When:    Thursday, January 15, 2009
Where:   CUMC - During Regular Pack Meeting

This year each scout may decorate a cake to be judged
in one of the following five categories:

  1. SCOUTING THEMES:
*** Anything to do with Scouting ***
(e.g.; Camping, Ski Trip, Pinewood Derby, Arrow of Light, Yorktown Trip, Railroad Trip, Parade, etc...)

  2. HOLIDAYS

  3. CARS

  4. NATURE / PETS

  5. Cubmaster's Award - ( Most likely done by a CUB )

As in the past, each scout is expected to bake and decorate the cake himself with minimal help from an adult. This year instead of an auction anyone wishing to donate their cake may leave it to be donated to Christ United Methodist Church as an act of charity and goodwill for our host church.

There is no need to sign up for the contest. Arrive at the church at 6:15 PM
(15 minutes early) for the January Pack meeting and volunteers will help get the cakes labeled and placed in the appropriate categories. While the meeting is going on several judges will select a first and second place winner from each category.

Good luck to all!!

THIS WILL BE FUN !!

Cake BOXES and BOARDS are available at the "If its Paper" store on W Market St. for a very low
cost, and they greatly aid the "sanitary" transportation and display of your creation !!

Scout Safety

All scouts must be accompanies by Parent or Guardian when mixing and baking !!   :-)
