2008 Holiday Parade

Logistics Information - Drop Off and  Pick up Information

The Greensboro Jaycees Holiday Parade is Saturday, Dec 6th rain or shine.

Parents, please drop-off your scout beginning at 10:30 a.m. but no later than 11:15 a.m. in the parking lot next to Hanes-Lineberry funeral home at 515 N Elm street.  If you get there real EARLY this is also a good place to park.  BUT remember....We will leave this location at 11:15 am !!
A Pack 104 Adult Leader will be there to meet them.  The boys will then be escorted by designated leaders to our spot in the parade which is #___If you (parents) wish to park and walk with us to the starting point, that's OK too.   - Plan ahead for parking  - Downtown streets will be closed to all traffic at 11:00 AM, so arrive early !

The parade starts moving at 11:55 AM - and usually lasts 2 hrs.

Parents, if you want to park and bring your boy to our float's starting point on Murrow Blvd (somewhere), that's OK, just be at our position NLT 11:15 am.  We will be in position #___ (will send separate email) , consult the parade map and allow plenty of time to find our position !!    DO NOT BE LATE - HAVE SIGNED PERMISSION FORMS !

The pick-up will be in the parking lot in front of the Wrangler / VF Building .  It looks like we are a few positions back from where we were last year , so plan on being in the parking lot around 1:00 p.m  (a wild guess!!)   Once you see the Pack pass by your parade position go DIRECTLY & IMMEDIATELY to the pick up point!

NOTE: the Parade route will be the same as Last year !!
So that means we LINE up down MURROW BLVD !!
